Lakeland  opened in Marina  Mall ! When i went in  it was like heaven and  all i ever want in there is .....EVERYTHING! I  adore  Lakeland   it is the best place in the world for cooking etc.

 see that Loyac has started the registration for their summer program, I think their summer program is great for youths especially if they are not travelling or having an intense summer course, the program helps participants invest their long summer holiday and get practical experience in several activities, trust me this really helps with the future job.

A visit to the house of mirrors

I went to the house of mirrors one day and met this lady called Lidia her husband is khalifa al qattan that was an artist a few years ago but then he passed away. Her daughter jalila al qattan has an art exhibition every year in memory of her father. She showed us the attic which had loads of drawings by her husband and lots of photos of him but when I was outside I managed to get a photo.

Our poor Maury is dying

Maury is our dog and is sweet and loving  so we call him Maury the love bug because he loves  everyone. Maury the Lovebug, our beloved Japanese Spitz dog - whom we got from an animal shelter here in Kuwait - has neurological complications from an old case of distemper. For those who have dogs that have been around Maury we have been assured by the vet that this is an old case that is not contagious. This canine virus has left him with degenerative brain damage. Sadly distemper and parvovirus are very common in Kuwait. Please ensure your dogs are vaccinated and boosters are given. 

We are so very sad. The vet has told me today there is nothing they can do for him and it might be a matter of months. I can't believe that he can be so ill. Apart from the twitching he seems fine, he does falter sometimes with his left front leg when walking but he still likes to play, eats well and is as sweet natured as ever.

We've only had him two months and have fallen madly in love with him and I think he has with us too. I noticed a twitching ear that had gotten worse and now his leg has started too. Yesterday one of his eyes started winking and half of his face was twitching. I thought maybe an old trauma to the head, epilepsy or a tumour - all of which might be treatable - but it seems not :O(

So for as long as we have him it'll be oodles of love, double portions of peanut butter (he adores it) and his favourite meal of boiled chicken.This my dog  and i am so sad about it .

Summer camp at Infunity by Blank

There is an  summer camp  in  Infunity  360 mall on the  3rd floor . It looked good for kids during ramadan.

KD20 fake notes now found

 








Ministry of Interior security men have received reports of fake KD20 bank notes in the market. According to Kuwait Times report, a Somalian expatriate, working in one of the commercial centers in Mahboula, reported to Fintas police that an unknown person came and bought several different goods with a KD 20 note. After the Somali checked the bank note and compared it to other notes, he found it to be different. The police checked the KD 20 note and proved the forgery. A case was filed and detectives started looking for the forger, especially as several reports were received about forged bank notes, Kuwait Times reported citing Al-Shahed daily.

LADUREE opened in Kuwait @ 360

Laduree is open in Kuwait u must go and see it! When I was at 360 today I just noticed it from the second floor it looked so cute!! There were pictures of small macaroons out the window. They look so  yummy don't they?
